Social Care in the (Dis)United Kingdom is in crisis and has been for a very long time. It is criminally underfunded and many providers are inadequate to the point of negligence.
This is not a matter of opinion. Successive governments have admitted this for decades, but we are still waiting for a government, any government, to do something about it.
Movie Review – The Tomorrow War
The Tomorrow War was released on Amazon Prime Video as an Amazon Original at the start of July and I only sat down to watch it this past weekend. It was originally going to be released in cinemas by Paramount, but the pandemic led to Amazon snapping up the rights. Returning to the Blog
My last post here was August last year, following the utter cock-up that the government made of the A-level results. My intention in starting this blog wasn’t really to spend all my time having a go at the failing government—which is good because that be a full-time job such are their failures—but instead it was supposed to be a place to express the thoughts, questions & ideas that swim around in my noggin at a bit more length than Twitter allows.
